Macklin & District Communiplex
The Macklin
& District Communiplex fulfills many needs of the community by
offering space and amenities for all types of programming. Common uses
of the facility include banquets, weddings, anniversary celebrations,
funerals, dance programming, fundraiser/charity events, Bingo, training
and workshop events.
The Macklin & District Communiplex
features an open lobby with access to both Men and Ladies restrooms as
well as access to the Upper and Lower meeting rooms.
The Lower
Meeting room (East side of Lobby) features white boards, access to the
kitchen, restrooms and has the capacity to hold 40-60 people dependent
on fixed on non-fixed seating.
Note: Incorporating Lobby will allow for extra seating capacity.
The
Upper Room features white boards, portable bar, refrigerator,
restrooms, and has the capacity to hold 100-160 people dependent on
fixed or non-fixed seating.
The Large Main Hall (North side of
facility) features a wooden dance floor, stage, lighting, speakers, two
coat rooms, restrooms, fountain pop machines, and access to the kitchen
and bar. The commercial kitchen includes a walk-in cooler, refrigerator,
two commercial range/ovens, and 2 additional convection ovens, 3 sinks,
commercial dishwasher, and plenty of counter space and supplies for
cooking/serving. The capacity is 600-1000 people dependent on fixed or
non-fixed seating.
Other amenities for the facility include a
large parking lot for vehicles or activity, round and rectangular
tables, chairs, piano, internet access, projector & screen (must
make prior arrangements to ensure all equipment is available and
ready).
An AED machine is located onsite in lobby. Additional First Aid kits are located in the kitchen and halls.
